Gillian Devereux received her MFA in Poetry from Old Dominion University and directs the writing center at Wheelock College, where she also teaches creative writing. She has written two chapbooks: Focus on Grammar (from dancing girl press, 2012) and They Used to Dance on Saturday Nights (from Aforementioned Productions, 2011). Her first full-length collection, To Feel Sleep Coming, will be published by Coven Press in the fall. Her work has been published in numerous journals and in the anthology A Face to Meet the Faces (from University of Akron Press, 2012). In 2010, her poem "Under the Big Top" was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Gillian likes robots, knitting, small woodland creatures, film noir, gin, and the library.
